They may find out on their own and they may not. However you SHOULD inform at least USCIS (and CIC if you decide to) because at this point you are knowingly petitioning for a polygamist (if you are not pulling your petition).

(U.S. law does not allow polygamy. If you were married before, you and your spouse must both show that you ended (terminated) all previous marriages before your current marriage)

he got married again after our wedding ,the USCIS says he must terminate all the previous marriages before the current marriage and not after!!!!

Are you legally married to him? Are there others wives before you?

ya, because I think technically if he got married to you while married to someone else, you're not really married.

(I think that's how it goes)

then there you go.

Polygamy isn't permitted in the U.S. For immigration purposes (I am forgetting where I read this, someone will be along with a citation), only the first wife counts as the real wife, say in the case where a man in a culture that permitted him multiple wives wanted to bring his spouse to the U.S. Only the first wife would count as a spouse.

I don't have my INA pdfs handy, but I think if the intending immigrant intends to practice polygamy that is grounds for denial.

Yikies!!! I think you should contact USCIS because if you do petition for a polygamist, YOU might get into trouble and we wouldn't want that to happen.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard
