Can anyone confirm if the Petitioner's Birth Certificate is required? We received the Pre-Interview Document email from Mumbai stating that all documents, including the Petitioner's Birth Certificate, are OK. But, we never uploaded or provided the Petitioner's Birth Certificate. Do we need to take the original petitioner's birth certificate to the interview and upload on CEAC?

Petitioner's birth certificate is one of the possible documents filed with the petition as evidence of US Citizenship.  The Consulate has the file USCIS used to approve the underlying petition.

We only submitted the petitioner's U.S. citizenship certificate with the I-130 petition to USCIS. Do we also need to take a copy of the petitioner's birth certificate for the interview?

Not required but will do no harm.  Like I said, the US Citizen's birth certificate is one way to verify citizenship.  If the petitioner has a "Certificate of US Citizenship" they were NOT born in the USA.
