Moroc wants originals (of all documents ) at the interview

should have sent photo copy with petition

instructions are posted on US embassy morocco site and clearly stated in instructions for interview

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/CSB-Casablanca.html

  • If you have ever been married:  An original marriage certificate for each marriage, a certified English translation, and a photocopy of each certificate.  For any marriages that have been terminated by death, divorce, or dissolution, please provide an original or certified copy of the death, divorce, or dissolution certificate, a certified English translation, and a photocopy of each certificate.

so now,  petitioner will need to get new certified divorce papers from the court of record

only photo copy of any supporting document they accept is copy of DL or state ID to show US residency/ every other document for this particular embassy has to be original

the above site says ds 260 as its for spouse so its ds 160 but other supporting documents remain the same

Taking advantage of the subject: What document would be needed to prove the divorce? My fiancé requested a certified copy from the court. Does it need to have a seal and watermark?

as per the superior courts in NJ, I need a certified, sealed/appellate copy of the divorce decree for legal matters, including immigration. That was done.

sending to USCIS is not wanted /  that should have been copy

the embassy wants it and to go any further with the case ,  u have to do what the embassy says

the document you sent may not be with the package the embassy received

''just trying to help u to do what Casa wants

During your visa interview, the consular officer will determine whether you must obtain the missing document before a visa can be issued. As a general rule, any document that is listed as “available” on the country-specific guidelines must be reviewed by a consular officer. Failure to obtain all required documents will delay your case.
