Hi everyone -  i have my N400 interview coming up however I have never filed the AR-11. I think I tried filing it once but since it was glitching online, I gave up and never did it again. Wondering what the consequences will be, if any, and what can I say if asked about this during the interview? Outside of that I think I have a pretty simple case for the most part. Would love to hear people's thoughts and advice here. Thank you in advance!

That's pretty bad, you could have filed on paper, which is also an option. I did AR-11 without any issues online though.

Historically, people don't get in a trouble for not filing AR-11, but technically it's a violation of law. If you read the form, it's a deportable offense. Not filing it theoretically can land you in jail too.

I'd file AR-11 now. Better late then never.

Hmm, thanks for your response! I wasn’t aware there was a paper filing option. I’ll try to file it ASAP. Any ideas on what I can say during the interview as a reasonable excuse which will not land me in trouble?

Tell the truth. Chances are they already have all the information in front of them, USCIS frequently works with data providers like LexisNexis so if a certain address appears on your regular credit reports it is safe to assume USCIS has it too.
