Hi all, hope this gets put in the correct forum if I misplaced it.

I have a question regarding my medical form I-693.

my husband is a uk citizen applying for his green card, he is currently in the US with me and after some discussions we’ve decided for him to stay and apply for AOS

im currently filling in the I-485 pack and going into the I-693.

i have requested from his gp in the uk a vaccination record. But they are not seeming keen to get things quickly. I’m wondering as his esta expires mid April. And want to get everything submitted before then. With his medical records, am I able to book him in for a medical here to get his required vaccines done and still be able to get them in time to submit before mid April?

we’re in a bit of a sticky situation and I’m trying to find the quickest and most efficient route to sort this I-693 paperwork and medical record stuff.

any explanations or advice would be much appreciated.

They can do a titre test to see what he has had.

The quckest way is to get I-693 exam done ASAP and not bother with vaccination records. Many vaccinations are only issued at certain age and never again. Others can be issued again even if patient had them before, without any harm.

So the path of least resistance is let civil surgeon figure out what all is required to satisfy USCIS during exam. Many times civil surgeon will just give all the necessary missing jabs during exam and that's it.

Yeah; he’s tried that but his GP practice hasn’t allowed the sharing onto NHS app, it doesn’t even have his Covid vaccines.

think the titer option may be the best one, thank you all for your kind responses

That’s very odd, he must have one unless he opted out. https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/gps/view-your-gp-health-record/

In any event, he’s entitled to a copy of his medical records, but he does need to ask (not you). Not sure how long ago you requested them, but I think they have 40 days to supply them.

When I requested a copy of my medical records from my GP surgery they told me it would take 30 days to do but I got them about 15-20 days after requesting them.

I actually told my mum how long they said it would take and she used to work in GP surgery printing peoples medical records as part of her role and she said it's ridiculous that they give that long a timeframe to do it as you just search for the persons records and press print haha

It is crazy, I requested ours online and got them sent via email just a few hours later! I’ve no idea why it would take longer than a few days, hopefully the OP will get them soon and save having to pay for the titre test.

I agree. I'm sure they can send them by email as if you ask at the GP Surgery as you have to fill in a form requesting the information and provide your contact details as well.
