Hi everyone,

I’m not sure how many of us are in the same boat but I’ve been waiting for an interview to be scheduled for N-400 since 5 June 2024. The adjudicating office is West Palm Beach and I have a pending I-751 with a marriage based two year green card. I note that the average processing time is 8 months and I believe that only in April I can send a case inquiry.

I was wondering if there is any point in calling the live USCIS agent or to just sit tight and wait. It’s so frustrating because it seems that there are lots of people getting quicker interviews.

Any advice or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated!

I'm still waiting since April 2024. My field office says 7 months (almost a year!) I applied with a pending i751.

I've called and even sent in a request to check on it. Both are still saying to wait it out that the interview should come soon.

So I'm also frustrated with you in waiting this long too. We are just stuck waiting it seems, lol

Did you request a name change when filing? That can definitely slow down the process.

August filer here with a pending I-751. I've seen everyone around me complete their processes months ago. Per timelines, a November filer with pending I-751 in my area already has their interview scheduled. When asking EMMA, all I get is that my case is processing normally and to be patient.

I see around 20% of cases filed in August 2024 are still pending. Generally, anything under 12 months can be considered within normal processing time...
