Hi everyone!

My wife and I were approved for direct consular filing three weks ago is going in for her final interview this upcoming week. She has been attempting to upload the i-485 and civil documents for the past several days. We have confirmed multiple times that on the NVC site there is no column available for civil document upload (only name, status,
IV fee, and IV application [marked as completed]).

We have attempted to contact NVC customer support (phone line unavailable for the past few days) and call the consulate but have received no response. We have suspected that perhaps due to our direct filing at the consulate, we may not have to upload these documents online and are instead required to present these in person to the consular officer. Anyone have any insight?

The I-485 is not used in a spouse immigrant visa case.  It's for adjusting status from within the USA.
