My wife, who lives and works in Dubai, is waiting for an interview. Our DQ was on 12/11/2024. She also applied for a visitor's visa to Canada. She's asking, what if she gets a visa to Canada? Can she move her case (CR1) to Canada? Would that be any faster route? I'm trying to convince her to stay put and wait, especially with what is happening in the USA with the new administration.  What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Agree with @OldUser above. Besides... Montreal, where all Family Based Immigrant Visas are handled, is notoriously slow.
