Reporting a Change of Address

I am a US citizen, and my husband and I both currently live in Italy. I filed an I-130 at the USCIS in Rome last month. 2 weeks later, I received a letter from them saying the petition was approved and has been forwarded to Naples where the process will continue. I have not yet received any correspondence from Naples.

I will be moving back to the US at the beginning of September. My husband will remain in Italy, but will be moving to a new apartment. To whom should I report these address changes, and how? The AR-11 form does not appear to be for this type of situation. And whose address is important here - mine (the petitioner), or my husband's (the beneficiary)?

I have tried contacting Naples to ask these questions, but have been completely unsuccessful.

AR-11 is only for aliens living in the USA to report a move, for example if you move from that appartment to another after your husband moves to the USA, you would also report it with I-865 but again only after your husband has a green-card.

You do not need to report the address change unless it is your husband moving in Italy, the consulate will need to know where to send additional correspondence. You husband will contact the consulate in Naples and inform them of the new address, he will need the case number when communicating with them.

http://naples.usconsulate.gov/contacts.asp (contact the immigrant visa unit)

When your husband gets additional forms like DS-230, he will indicate where you live on that form as well as other forms used by the consulate.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
