Life has gotten so bad for 'coyotes' who smuggle migrants across the Mexican border that some are dressing as Border Patrol agents in a bid to fool the men and women who really do that job.

Agents in Yuma, Arizona, nabbed three men – two Americans and a Mexican – just days before Donald Trump's inauguration as they tried to impersonate Border Patrol to smuggle 24 migrants – mostly Mexican into the country.

The desperate measure came as Yuma, a hotbed for illegal crossings at the height of the nation's crisis, has become a ghost town as stricter policies and enforcement brought by the new Trump administration go into effect.

'It's been really quiet,' one local Border Patrol agent speaking on condition of anonymity told DailyMail.com. 'In 2021 and 2022, yeah, it was busy then.

Biden's Lies About The Border Are Now Plain For All To See

We know what you're thinking.  Why waste any time on Joe Biden?  Who cares about him anymore?  Well, you should, since the nation will be cleaning up Biden's messes for years to come.

And one of the biggest was his campaign to usher as many illegal immigrants as possible into the country while lying to the American people about what was going on.

At his first press conference in March 2021 – after claiming that nothing had changed at the border (despite repealing every Trump executive order securing the border on day one) – he said the surge of illegals then underway "happens every single solitary year.  There is a significant increase in the number of people coming to the border in the winter months of January, February, March.  It happens every year … happens all the time."

Well, now we know that was a lie.  Look at the chart below, which shows "encounters" by border patrol agents at the southern border in January of each year since 2017.  [...]

Especially for a non-lawyer, Byron Donalds is really impressive.

He would make a good VP for JD Vance in '28.

This is eye-opening and excellent reading from a long-time journalist eyewitness.

The Border Crisis Is Over

JUAREZ, Mexico – On New Year's Eve 2020, as President-elect Joe Biden was at home in Delaware celebrating his imminent move into the White House, a mob of some 300 Cubans stormed out of Juárez, Mexico, in a mad banzai charge over one of the international bridges toward El Paso, Texas.

They swept past Mexican border guards, leapt pell-mell the wrong way over Mexican pay turnstiles, and sprinted for America in a crisscrossing stampede through traffic over the bridge lanes.

But alas, the outgoing Donald Trump was still in office, and his U.S. Customs and Border Protection Mobile Field Force, already riot-ready and waiting behind heavy concrete blocks tipped by concertina wire, stopped the migrant charge cold.  Bunched up behind the barricades, the foiled mob loosed a telling chant:

"Bi-den!  Bi-den!  Bi-den!  Bi-den!  Bi-den!"

"They should let us pass.  We are calling out to Mexico and the U.S. and to Biden, the new U.S. president, to remind him of the presidential campaign promises he made, to make him aware we are here," said one of them, Raul Pino Gonzalez of Havana, to a Cuban news reporter.

"There is an expectation.  There is hope and there is enthusiasm in those who believe that, with the change of administration, will come new measures and that they will immediately enter and there will be new conditions that will allow them to request asylum," Enrique Valenzuela, head of the Chihuahua State Council for Population and Migration, told a Mexican newspaper that night.

They were right in their interpretation of Biden's campaign promises, if a tad early.  An estimated 10-12 million foreign nationals would more successfully answer the call starting on Biden's inauguration day a few weeks later, in record-smashing populations of between 200,000 and 350,000, ushered straight into America every month for the next four years.

And all of that is now at an end.  [...]
