i-130 & i-485 being processed but i-765 rejected.

Hello everyone, 

 

End of January I received 3 papers in the mail. One receipt for i-130, an other one for the i-485 and a rejection letter saying my i-765 has been rejected because payment couldn't be processed. Which is odd because they were able to process my card for the two other forms, but anyway. 

 

Since that, about 2 weeks ago, my lawyer has sent the i-765 form again with a different payment method. I haven't received the receipt yet.

I have my biometrics in 2 days. 

So my question is, the fact that the i-765 hasn't been submitted at the same time as the i-130 and i-485, will that slow the approval of my work permit? I can't wait to go back to work!

Use a check for payment. Easier to check and track. Credit card payments routinely get denied due to fraud concerns
