Scheduling IV appointment in Manila

I can't pinpoint it, but my gut tells me something ain't right in how we're trying to schedule. Please tell us if we're on the right track or not. This is what we do.. We login and we land here.

The fact that "Fee Payment" is blank is messing with my head. I don't get why that box is even there. Is it intended to be a payment status? If so, why is it empty? If we didn't pay, would we not be able to login?

 

We click "Schedule IV appointment, and we're taken here.

We click the drop down and only see "Manila OFC". Selecting this gives us the infamous "No Slots Available".

 

Are we going about this correctly?

you more than likely won't be able to pay the visa fee until there are interview slots are available. that is probably why that section is currently greyed out. someone who has interviewed at manila recently will probably know for sure if that is the case.

 

youre able to login without paying specifically so you can check for available interview slots. you will just have to keep checking for available slots.

 

i believe i read somewhere people checking in the middle of the night and getting lucky that slots have opened.

We already paid $265.  I was under the impression that other than the medical, we were paid up

ahh ok, above you said you hadn't paid yet.

then it is greyed out so you don't accidentally pay the fee again. the $265 is all you had to pay for the visa.

 

you are in the right place as far as scheduling the interview appointment. but there just aren't any slots available. you will just have to keep checking.

That's what's so confusing. If we didn't pay, would we not even have access to that site?

It’s for people that haven’t paid, it will cover all sorts of visas so the box is there for others that do have to pay. The fact that it’s greyed out on your view says you have paid.

Another odd thing I am finding is that ALWAYS - the first attempt at logging in fails. EVERY time. Edge or Chrome - same behavior. Second attempt always gets me in. Anybody else experiencing this?

I'd really like to know if others are experiencing this. This makes an irritating process 3x worse.

I tried on a second computer and 3 different browsers. Same behavior.
