How long does it take to cash a check?

Maybe I'm jumping the gun here but for my K-3 visa we sent the I-130 and I-129f to Chicago just over three weeks ago and the checks have not even cleared yet. Is this normal?

hmmmmm I may have missed something here... but do you file both at the same time?? Unless there is something in the new filling fees that say to file the I-130 and I-129f at the same time.... I think mabey we have a problem Houston... I am sure pushbark will be able to shed some light on this for us.... hang in there. Read, read and read more... and if all else fails.. read all my post... It was ok to file them together three weeks ago and has been ok since late June but you would not mail them to Chicago. You would mail them to either California or Vermont, depending on your State of Residence. They'll most likely end up at the right place but your check won't be cashed until the right service center gets them. USCIS will get them transferred. In the meatime you wait.
