I have somehow managed to lose my conditional green card (CR1 path). It expired 1/2025. I do have the I797 (48 month extension letter) and completed biometrics on February 3rd.

In order to still travel what do I need to do? We cancelled our international flights when I realized I lost the card (the night before) with fear of not being let on the return flight. However I do cross the Canadian land border regularly to see my family.

Do I need to file an I-90? I doubt they will issue an expired card?

Do I need an ADIT/I551 stamp? and if so, do I need to file the I-90 to get that stamp, or will the I797 be enough? Will they issue one without proof of upcoming travel dates?
