It’s not the same at all. DQ is a NVC specific thing, plenty of people are DQ’ed and then found ineligible at the consulate stage.

Nobody needs to see your documents, pls don’t message private info like that to anybody. It sounds like @pushbrk just needs to know the source of the income, whose income it is, what evidence you provided - assets, salary, pensions, joint sponsor etc etc.

not the same? It's the same person, same docs, same MNL #, same final destination - correct?

all that detailed information is in the docs I already sent to him.

I sent you the actual 864 docs with all that information in great detail. I'm assuming you can't open them for some reason.

I didn't open your attachments because I don't give advice by private messages.  Further, I deleted the message.  These mailboxes are not very big.  If I don't delete, the box is full and I cannot receive new messages.  So....Last request.  What is the nature and source or sources of the income you are using to qualify?  I've explained the question in detail already.  If you want help, answer the question.

It was a link to my google drive, NOT an attachment , so you are wrong it was taking up any space in your mailbox!

I will have to go into the docs I already sent you and get the details, it's extensive, I own 6 properties in multiple states, multiple sources of income and multiple w2, 1099's and investments and will have to list them all here at your request when I get a chance. I have 3 kids and a sick father who just got out of the hospital so I thought sending you the ACTUAL docs would of helped here, obviously not.  Curious, are you getting paid by visajourney? Thanks

I suspect it was taking up space, you said you couldn’t message me but I don’t have any restrictions on messages so it must have been a size issue for the message. But in any event, there’s really no need to be like that when somebody is kindly trying to help you for free. If you want somebody to look at your docs and give you advice then a lawyer would be the way to go instead.

But you might want to confirm who owns what, as this is your wife’s petition. And you say ‘I’ - so what is in her name?

You may not be aware, but any messages, with or without attachments fill VJ limited private message mailboxes very quickly, especially for active and respectable members like

I don't save text only messages either.  The box is small.

So, did you indicate you are both employed and self employed?

In the tax section, did you enter the number from the "total income" line of your 1040s?

For real Estate assets, did you include documentation of their value and mortgage?

For real estate, did  you state only the value of the equity?

Do you and your wife file joint federal tax returns?

We don't need to know all the details and values.  You are both employed and a self employed investor/landlord  That's the nature and sources of your income.  Please answer the follow-up questions above.

I'd think quite the opposite, but @pushbrk can confirm. If it was indeed a paid service, we'd be checking and replying to private messages. However, the point of VJ is to spread knowledge. Somebody else in your situation may be struggling, and can learn from this thread. Private messages do not allow it.

Visajourney does not pay any member, as far as I know.  This discussion group is funded by advertising.

Documentarily qualified means that the CEAC receive all  the correct documents for the application. Apart from flagging an I864 that doesn’t or  may not meet the financial sponsorship requirements, it does not decide on the validity of the information contained in the documents. NVC is a “clearing house” .. an administrative process which “checks the boxes” only. The decision is fully in the hands of the Interviewing Officer

yes that was required to even get to the interview! which is what's so frustrating, first they say we are "documentairly qualified" then they lie and say we are not - basically indian givers.

point one:
note that the above term is a racial slur towards native americans.
you are hereby notified that any further ethnic slurs will result in action you won't like.

review the terms of service (tos) to avoid moderater radar.  https://www.visajourney.com/terms-of-service/

point two:
do NOT ask for immigration advice via private message.  any advice given in pm cannot be peer reviewed in open forums.
also, all messages take up room in one's inbox.

point three:
do not send people links to your google drive in pm and do not post those links on this site.  this is to curtail any possibility of malware.  either upload the document as an attachment, or do not post them.  redact the personal information as needed before posting them.

this thread is now being monitored by vj moderation.

I can't help but think you need to leave this is the hands of your Legal team.

welp points taken, apparently this forum has some limitations & censorship that most don't in 2025. I guess you approve of the cleavland baseball team that was forced to change their name also. I would have to bet you are not a supporter of President Trump.  I'm in many other forums, like car repair and RV repair and everyone helps each other any way they can. Private message or otherwise. Sorry I'm not used to the different rules here.

correct, and the "interviewing officer" may have personal reasons for denial.
