i have both i864 and i864a fully filled out , i don't think they will allow it posted here because of all the sensitive data?

Op. I understand your frustration. Just to confirm and my apologies if you already answered this.

Your wife completed I-864 and you completed I-864A? Correct?

Yes, it is particularly important to know the nature of the sources of income.  Usually, the petitioner's spouse would do an I-864a, not be a joint sponsor, but without details, it's impossible to know if there's a good reason for this.  For our discussion here, it's more helpful if you omit your "feelings" (We understand.) and stick to the pertinent facts.

which details do you need? can I private message you the actual docs?

these are not "feelings" these are facts. And exactly why we have 20 million illegals in America.

I have seen another case where a CO did that already.  Doesn't make sense to require 2024 tax year documents.  Does your wife have income?  If not, then that might explain why they want you to be a Joint Sponsor.  @pushbrk is a guru for these situations.  He can probably clarify some of this.  Good luck.

exactly , the only reason they are asking for something that's not even due yet is because they enjoy making peoples lives harder and they are jelous. Basically it's classic "bite off your nose to spite your face" attitude.  If this continues, once a democratic president is back in office, the same thing will happen and we will get flooded with illegals due to this unfair beurocratic red tape process.

yes that was required to even get to the interview! which is what's so frustrating, first they say we are "documentairly qualified" then they lie and say we are not - basically indian givers.

NVC said you were DQ’ed, not the consulate, two different entities. The consulate have complete discretion over deciding if you’re financially eligible or not. If you can stick to the facts and give full details of what you’ve provided then somebody can help you work out how to overcome it, chucking insults around isn’t going to help. @pushbrk is amazing when it comes to this stuff, but as he said he needs to know ‘the nature of the sources of income’.

We would need to understand the nature and sources of the income.  Yes, there are facts that go along with your expressions of indignation, but those feelings don't help us help you.

I private messaged you the actual 864 and 864a docs with those sources. I didn't think VJ would allow that personal info here.

If I'm wrong let me know and I'll just post it here.

@pushbrk refused to help me thru private messaging. the nature and sources are in the 864 and 864a which I didn't think is allowed to be posted here that's why i sent pm to @pushbrk but he refused to help. oh well.

why NVC and the consulate can't communicate seemlessly in 2025 is ridiculous. It's all the same in the end. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Don't say you're documentarily qualified if your not. Very simple.

It’s not the same at all. DQ is a NVC specific thing, plenty of people are DQ’ed and then found ineligible at the consulate stage.

Nobody needs to see your documents, pls don’t message private info like that to anybody. It sounds like @pushbrk just needs to know the source of the income, whose income it is, what evidence you provided - assets, salary, pensions, joint sponsor etc etc.

I refused to help through private messaging because that's not how Visajourney works.  That you were DQ, is no guarantee regarding what a Consular Officer will do.  It is the Consular Officer that has the authority to make the public charge decision.

I asked you to describe the nature and sources of the income you used to qualify.  Is it from employment, self employment, passive income, non-taxable income?  Please explain, so we can understand.  Without this information we don't know how to help.  I referred you to the partner page, if you need professional help.

I sent you the actual 864 docs with all that information in great detail. I'm assuming you can't open them for some reason.
