I am a US citizen petitioning for my father under IR5 category. My father recently had his interview at Bangladesh US Embassy and he was handed a 221g form requesting to submit the original birth certificate of the petitioner (me). At the time of the interview, my father did give them the copy of my birth cert with the English translation and an attestation statement which included the hand signature of the translator. But the docs were not accepted and they requested for the original BC issuing 221g.

The 221g notice letter is explicitly asking to submit the original birth certificate in "Bangla and English". Now the thing is, my original birth certificate is in Arabic as I was born in the Middle East. And this Arabic one was uploaded on CEAC with the application.

I am at a very confusing situation at this point because we do not know which exact documents to submit. Do I courier my father the original Arabic birth certificate from US so that he can submit it along with an English translated copy? My father does have a certified English translated certificate from Bangladesh Birth Registrar which shows my actual birth place (also uploaded on CEAC). Does he need to send both my Arabic original along with the English one? Or does he need to get a Bangla version of certified birth certificate and just send the Bangla and English from Bangladesh?

Any help or feedback is really appreciated. Especially, with experience of similar situations.
