Hi Everyone,

Putting together the packet and wonder how is this for evidence so far?

G-1145

Copy of GC

Lease agreement (printed double sided otherwise it would be 50pages)

Credit card bills (one for each year)

Health insurance cards

Retirement account beneficary

Tax transcripts (filed jointly)

Evidence of joint bank account  (not statements)

copy of both drivers licenses

Boarding passes of trips we took

Photos of us on said trips

envelope addressed to both of us

I can also add out car insurance cards and phone bills

Does this seem comprehensive? Do i need a cover letter

Why 50 pages is an issue?

Why only one? Are these credit cards in both names or one of the spouses is an authorized user? If neither, it's not worth including.

Why not?

Yes, add them. Also utility bills in both names.

If you want to get cased approved without RFE, I recommend following I-751 instructions. They tell as much documents as possible, covering period between date of marriage and date of I-751 filing.

My husband is the primary and I am the authorized user. I can do quarterly for the two years if better?

Our joint bank account my husband is the primary so my name doesnt show up on the statements. I only could get them to print me our account application for when we opened the joint account.

Why have you not put everything in both names?  Being an authorized user is not the same as joint owner.

It's a bit late now, but for others reading this:  I recommend adding spouse to ALL household bills immediately when they first arrive.

I guess we didn't really think of it until we started to compile all the paperwork. Plus our water, heat and rubbish disposal is included in our lease.

I can add the phone bill which is in both of our name.

Our's was about 2 inches thick sent in the medium FedEx box with plastic wrapped and rubber banded inside. Got to Elgin, IL, overnight.

Thanks so much. That's very helpful. I have most of that included asides really from the utility bills. Planning on mailing today. Thanks for input

Do you think it's worth while putting in the quarterly credit card statements? It does show both transactions by me and my husband

Nothing wrong with including monthly statements either (that’s what we did).

We filed my wife's I-751 petition last month, and thanks to this forum, we started collecting documentation from the moment she arrived in the U.S., knowing these documents would be needed at some point.

For our submission, we included front and back copies of her Green Card, driver’s licenses showing the same address, and quarterly joint bank account statements. Since I couldn't add her to the mortgage, I immediately added her name to the utility bills upon her arrival. We also submitted credit card statements and a car insurance policy listing both of us (If you have it add this as well). Additionally, we included eight photos (four per page) documenting our travels together. Plus other proofs.

One thing to keep in mind: don’t overthink or overcomplicate the process—you can only submit what you genuinely have. USCIS simply seeks sufficient evidence to confirm your marriage is bona fide. Focus on providing the strongest documentation available, and remember that quality matters more than quantity.

Wishing you the best of luck with your petition!

Agreed. I-751 instructions say "as much documentation as possible". I sent monthly statements. My case got approved without RFE, without interview. I didn't care how many pages was my packet as I paid lawyer flat fee for filing I-751. If I had to print myself, I wouldn't mind paying more to print more pages. After all, it was in my interest to have a smooth case.
