Hi Folks,

My green card was mailed to an incorrect address. I currently don’t know what the address is however as per USPS it was delivered to some address in the last town / state that I entered in the US (which was not my long term stay). USPS tracking says that the documents were delivered 10 days back to

I wanted to know if it’s possible for me to:

  1. Identify the exact address where it was delivered to?
  2. Is the only way to get a replacement GC through I90? If so, is the timeline really 24 months or can it be expedited?

Not sure, you can try searching your profile on USCIS to see if you can find the address they have on record.

Yes, the I90 is the only option for replacing a lost or incorrect GC.  I would check the information you submitted to USCIS/DoS and make sure this was not your fault as if the error is due to a USCIS error, you should not have to pay for it.  I am not aware of being able to expedite, but you can continue to get ADIT stamps for proof of your LPR status.

Good Luck!
