Excellent! I concur. My brother always asks me if I’m a citizen yet and I’ve explained the process to him several times.

This (immigration requirements), and the citizenship knowledge in the N-400 study book, should be worth at least a couple of days or weeks of attention in hyskool Civics classes.  We've periodically discussed the lack of knowledge displayed when born U.S. citizens try to answer the naturalization test questions.  When Mrs. T-B. was going through the N-400 process, I tried answering the 100 questions myself and was mortified to get only 98 of them correct.

 

The Democrats have no compunction about wanting as many unknowledgeable, unassimilated illegals as possible to be here, with the thinly disguised goal of eventually giving them the right to vote.

Young people as well, it's contagious.

 

The years of TDS exposure from my mother on my nephews have finally taken their toll.  One lost his job last week because he was caught posting online making a call for violence against the orange man--this is a person who still cannot identify the vice president or how long Supreme Court justices serve.  The other says he despises how awful his life has become.  He is 21 years old, works full time at a job he's had for 2+ years and is moving in with his girlfriend of a year.  He has a car, and the unending emotional and financial support of his family.  When I pointed this out to my mother, she offhandedly said "well he meant in general".

 

Abhorrent.

UPDATE:  El Salvador Blocks Four U.S. Democrats from Meeting with Deported MS-13 Suspect

 

The four Democratic lawmakers who traveled to El Salvador in an attempt to meet with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, deported last month by the Trump administration, were blocked by local authorities, who cited that the visit was not officially authorized.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) confirmed on X that El Salvador refused to meet with the group of Democratic lawmakers after their arrival.

"El Salvador just denied Democrats from meeting with the MS-13 gang member because they didn't travel to the country in an official capacity.  I will never authorize a penny of taxpayer dollars to send Democrats to El Salvador for a photo-op & margaritas," Comer wrote on X.  [...]
