Immunization record

Hi guys! Im not aware if this question has been answered.

 

I am a Filipino Citizen beneficiary on a work permit in Canada. Before my medical exam, I have heard about the immunizations I need to get.

 

is it enough to show a record or card of my immunizations when I was young? My mother will send it to me here in Canada. That way, I only need to get a flu shot or updated tetanus shot.

You show your immunization card/record to the medical exam doctor to decide.

Yes... the medical provider will decide if the immunization record is acceptable

My mum was able to keep my baby book but I think the physician will only honor it if the record has complete details. Meaning it needs to have the name of vaccine given, LOT number, date and name and signature of the person administering the vaccine. Without those info, they will need to give you the vaccine again.
