When connecting in London (LGW) airport...please help!!!

I just purchased a ticket from Kiev (KBP) to Atlanta (ATL). The flight connects in London (LGW).

Is anyone familiar with this airport? Does my fiancee need a UK visa? I assume she will not be leaving the "international zone" but I know she has to go from Terminal S to N.

Any help is appreciated.....

Thanks!!

I travel through LGW alot.

No visa is needed; and the transition for connecting passengers is ( in my humble opinion) very easy there ( much better than Heathrow)!

Your fiancee will be fine

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Gatwick is a wonderful airport! I connected there coming to and from Detroit to Tunis.. It's very easy to figure out.. but the only thing that I dont like, is that if you have a departing flight, they don't put it up on the screen until about 20 minutes before it departs, and then there is a sign that says "If your flight departs from X terminal, make sure to to plan a 20 minute walk" man that doesn't give much room to get there! So be cautious but other than that, it's very roomy, clean and friendly people :)

If the trip ENDS at Hartsfield, usually not too bad (a little LONG, but...). No experience with combined POE/transfer-to-connexion at Atlanta, so can't comment on that aspect.
