Hey everyone,

2/24 - Sent via USPS

2/25 - Received in Carol Stream, IL

2/25 - Receipt notice sent

3/13 - Credit Card payment processed

3/15 - Biometrics reused / Actively reviewed by USCIS

In the package I managed to add a copy of an official confirmation of live birth from the hospital where my daughter was born (a couple of weeks prior). Not enough time left in the window to wait for a Birth Certificate as I had to send it in before March 1st. I feel like of all bona fide proofs, an American child born 1000ft from Woodward Avenue in the Metro Detroit area is ironclad evidence. Should I get a copy of her birth certificate and upload it to the portal as unsolicited evidence, or is a hospital confirmation enough?

Hoping for a quick one this time around!

Birth cert is preferred. It should list both parents AFAIK.

When you get the copy of the birth certificate, scan it and upload it in the portal under "Unsolicited Evidence". There is a category you can select for the document called "Bona Fides of Relationship"

2/11 Package arrived at Carol stream

2/11 I got a notification that the package was received and receipt has been sent.

It’s almost two months now and still no NOA. It’s not even available online. Is it normal? Has anyone experienced this?

You can inquire about the missing NOA1 at https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/ndn

It does say to wait for 60 days before inquiry though:

NOTE: Please do not submit an inquiry on a recently filed application or petition until after at least 60 days.

Congratulations!!!  It's a shame that some people have to wait more than 3 years for approval.  Good luck on your N-400.  The journey is almost finished....

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
