Hello everyone:)

My wife - US Citizen petitioner to bring her mother .

Minimum income requirement in her situation:

          $32,275

Petitioner wages

2024 - W2  - $49075 ( above Minimum)

2023 - W2 - $ 30755  (Less than $32275  )

-2023 taxes filed - and Tax transcripts submitted to NVC

- 2024 Taxes not filed yet however W2 submitted and current income recorded on I864 matching 2024 W2  ( $49075 )

**Is this would suffice as enough income on the I-864 to sponsor her mom for IR5 visa ?

Or

should amend I-864 and add additional assets - such as bank account assets?

*** Note : NVC - sent this massage ****

Case FE review note

(( Please submit every 2023 W-2 , 1099 and Schedule form for the petitioner ))

Thanks in advance .

Can you not add your income

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Her income is her W2  so just her W2 as income

Then i-864 form -  it ask for total income filed on recent tax year ( we file taxes jointly - total income mentioned as we file taxes jointly?
would you elaborate please ?
thanks

Is the $49,075 just her income, or the total income for both of you for 2024?

Did you not file income tax as married?  Your income will likely be requested, anyway.
