Hello 

Due to backlog in Pakistan we transferred our case to Oman . I'm USC interview was on May 28 2024 i was also with my wife (applicant)  at time to interview . Office asked about 5 question after that she said everything is good and looking at computer she said we have not got clearance yet and gave 221g .After 2 month we got ds5535 and we submitted it on Aug. 2024 . its been almost 6 months not cleared yet , last updated on our case was Jan 29 2025 and Feb 3 2025 still refused . 

 

I even tried contacting Local Congressman and Senator but nothing is helping :( 

 

When should we file Mandamus Lawsuit is it better to wait 1 year of submitting ds5535?

 

please help 😞

Expect extended administrative processing due to the home country of Pakistan and the fact that the embassy in Oman does not deal with background checks very often of Pakistani citizens - Most likely the reason they issued the DS-5535
