Good afternoon. Our K1 visa was approved late last year.  We were excited and awaited for our next step in the process.  A few months went, and nothing.  We reached out to NVC and was told our case had be sent to the embassy for processing. We waited again and didn't get any letter and or email.  A few months went by again and we finally got a letter from Germany Frankfurt to apply for the visa and choose them as the posting place.  My fiance isn't from Germany, nor has he never been or able to travel here. We picked Nigeria as his interview place, because that is where he is from. He does currently live in Cyprus.  We are guessing that's why his petition was send to Frankfurt. The only thing we have been advised to do is contact the Nigerian embassy and have them request our case transfer to them. I have email several and called to no avail. I'm not sure what to do. I'm at a standstill. Can we still apply and choose Nigerian as his interview place?
