hello to all

iam in the process of completing the DS-260 for my father and iam comfused about the answer for ''Have you served in the military?''  my father is from Cuba, communist country and military service is mandatory, he served at the age of 16 for 3 years,  and now is 80 years of age, iam afraid of getting him denied his visa if the answer is YES.

If the answer is yes then of course that’s what you have to put. Anything else would be fraud and could result in him being banned from the US.
