N 400 Citizenship Interview

I am writing this on behalf of my mother. 

Mother had her citizenship interview on January 6 2025. the officer said she is not able to make a decision at this time. She needed to review her trips overseas and may be other things that she did not mention. Now its been over a month since she had her interview and we have not heard anything from USCIS. 

We will appreciate any ideas or suggestions what to do. Thank you

With this timeframe, at this point all you can do is wait to hear from them. USCIS has 120 days after the N-400 interview to make a decision.

This is from the USCIS Policy Manual:

USCIS has 120 days from the date of the initial naturalization interview to issue a decision. If the decision is not issued within 120 days of the interview, an applicant may request judicial review of his or her application in district court. The officer must base his or her decision on the laws, regulations, precedent decisions, and governing policies.

And after 120 days USCIS can be sued for decision.
