Hello,

 

I am currently living abroad in Jeddah with my non-US spouse. Due to restructuring, I am being made redundant and my contract will finish in 3 months, at which time we will need to leave the country. Would we be elegible for DCF of form I-130 with the embassy in Riyadh? Has anyone done so from KSA before? I emailed the embassy, but got no response so far.

Unlikely as it doesn’t come under one of the listed ‘exceptional circumstances'. But a consulate can accept a case under discretionary reasons so you can certainly ask, it’s worth a try.
