Parents received a GREEN 221g. Officer asked for my W2 (but did not specify what year) for my dads case - which was already uploaded at the NVC stage - but I uploaded again today when mum told me. Weird that its also requested for dad's case and not mums too.

The only box that is checked on the 221g is for me to DX courier my british birth certificate.

They did not keep their passports.

If I courier my BC via DX, do I need for them to acknowledge and expect and ask for their passports to be couriered?

Just thinking of what might happen if or when its suffice for them that they received what they asked for....

Would there be harm in sending the passports together with the BC?

I got the Courier-In Authorization Certificate generated from https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/users/sign_in

But not sure what to do with it?

Says "This certificate authorizes tadeo, nenita to use the designated CSRA courier to deliver supporting visa application documents to the United States London Consulate free of charge"

I also emailed DX for a quote on pickup and delivery and return service - is this the correct procedure on using the DX certifcate and for DX to pickup from mums house?

Even though I uploaded my W2, I will send to mum with my british BC to then DX courier to the consulate - or should I not do this?

Edit to add. I realize I should NOT send more than what is being asked for. So I will send W2 and birth certificate, hope that they will approve. And when asked for passports will DX courier to them.
