Parents received a GREEN 221g. Officer asked for my W2 (but did not specify what year) for my dads case - which was already uploaded at the NVC stage - but I uploaded again today when mum told me. Weird that its also requested for dad's case and not mums too.

The only box that is checked on the 221g is for me to DX courier my british birth certificate.

They did not keep their passports.

If I courier my BC via DX, do I need for them to acknowledge and expect and ask for their passports to be couriered?

Just thinking of what might happen if or when its suffice for them that they received what they asked for....

Would there be harm in sending the passports together with the BC?

I got the Courier-In Authorization Certificate generated from https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/users/sign_in

But not sure what to do with it?

Says "This certificate authorizes tadeo, nenita to use the designated CSRA courier to deliver supporting visa application documents to the United States London Consulate free of charge"

I also emailed DX for a quote on pickup and delivery and return service - is this the correct procedure on using the DX certifcate and for DX to pickup from mums house?

Even though I uploaded my W2, I will send to mum with my british BC to then DX courier to the consulate - or should I not do this?

It’ll be the W2 that relates to the Tax Return Transcript/Return. I too had a green refusal letter, although I had nothing to courier to the Embassy, only to upload to the email address on the letter. It is disconcerting why the passport was returned for such a minor oversight. The birth certificate, being an original document will need to be couriered though. Good luck.

in my I-864, I listed my 2023, 2022 and 2021 tax filing years. Though, I uploaded the 2023 tax transcript to the CEAC portal along with the W2's for that year.

There was no email address on the slip. Just said, "upload petitioners W2 to dads case"

Also I noticed my long form BC submitted at the USCIS stage was a scanned of the original BC from birth.

Lost in a move somehow.

Ordered a certified copy in 2023 via https://www.westminster.gov.uk/registrars/order-copy-certificate

Received and still in the original mailing envelope from UK to US, I am hoping that this won't be an issue!!!!

It’s odd that there is no email address on the top of the green refusal letter, mine had an LND address to upload W2 etc to. It didn’t have any originals to send in via courier, although the form, (multiple usages) did give instruction on the no cost courier of original docs. Make sure that the birth certificate serial numbers match want you have uploaded and what you physically send in. I had ordered two BC’s and had to be watchful I used just the one and not mixed and matched. I hope they will then ask for the passports to be sent in too, strange they returned it under the circumstances.

Yes! the serial numbers or the registar record number matches.

Yes, I am hoping that once they receive and accept , that they will then ask for their passports to be sent.

for any original documents, you need to courier with DX and not email or upload them.

Thank you for your reply. How do I print send in receipt like you did. Because I haven't received any email from Us emabssy with instructions.

Give it a few days and reach out to them via the Visa Navigator system if you receive no instruction.
