Hi everyone, thanks as always for your help! Quick question — how likely is it that an expedite request for an I-130 petition will be approved if the U.S. citizen spouse receives a job offer in the U.S.? We are currently living together in Italy!

Have you already submitted the I-130? If not, DCF may well be an option, which would be much quicker.

Edit: never mind, just seen from your timeline that it’s already underway. An expedite isn't likely to be granted, but it’s free to ask for one so you may as well give it a try.

Thank you - Yes, we already applied unfortunately. I honestly thought that although not granted, if requested because the USC receives the job offer might have more chances vs if requested for the benefeciary (myself). But again, it was just my perception by reading around. Let's see! Thank you again

Oh, definitely more chance than that - there’s no grounds for an expedite if it’s not the USC. If you can prove that it will cause severe financial hardship then it’s worth a try.

Won't expedite for beneficiary job offer, but possible for petitioner.  Had you not already sent the petition, DCF for petitioner job would have been fastest.
