Hello Everyone, I am in similar confusion stage now. My niece received email from NVC (k1FTB)on July 16th, that mentioned case will send to Mumbai consulate for interview appointment. Since then she didn’t hear anything from them or neither from US consulate in Mumbai . Recently we checked cases online it showing

“ READY” since August,  I know in this thread- some mentioned, we need to Fill out DS 160 & can schedule appointments but other are sayings, need to wait till get “Welcome packet 4” by mail which have all instructions what to do next.  Please help us ! Do she need to wait till hear from Mumbai consulate or Can proceed to fill DS160 & schedule appointment herself?
