Hi all,

I saw some post about some saying that DS160 form needs to be printed and taken to the embassy but i'm not able to click the print button.

Its seems its not enabled for me. Do i actually need it?

Also, I'm curious about the financial support documents. Currently i was going to send my fiancée an email with the Tax transcripts, W2, recent tax return(PDF because my accountant sent me a pdf version) and some bank statements from the last month.

Is this good enough? On the requirements it says only originals but just confused how i could get the 1040 in original form when i always had the pdf version.

Thanks.

you only need the ds-160 confirmation page printed. not the entire form itself. once the DS-160 is submitted, you will be able to print the confirmation page.

those documents will need to be printed regardless. but yes they should be fine. they want to see your current income.

You need the tax transcripts OR the 1040s & W-2s, not both. Embassies prefer the transcripts. Make sure they are the TAX RETURN transcripts.

@Edward and Jaycel
So the tax transcripts should be good enough. Because the letter i got from abu dhabi mentioned company letter and my company isnt providing one for K1 visa(idk why). But im thinking since they want proof of employment, Tax transcripts should be fine. Just was confused about what is required because they mention:
An affidavit of support From I-134 should be completed by the petitioner and submitted with all supporting documents - current salary letter, current bank statement and 1040 tax form for the most recent year.Originals, not photocopies, of these documents must be brought.

Originals was throwing me off because i only have a PDF version

Thats what i was thinking but this what confused me:

You must complete the following form, print and bring it with you on your interview day:

This is just for the tax requirements. You also need to have proof of current income and that is done with payslips from your employer and an employment verification letter from your employer (The payslips are paramount for proof of current income and the letter is just a bonus)

@Edward and Jaycel

I will add the last 4 months of pay statements from my employer. As far as the letter, will need to see what i can do about that.

I actually sent all the documents to my fiancee via email and they were printed in his country before the interview.  There were no issues whatsoever with any of them including the 260 application.

@TexasRafael
You printed out the whole DS260 application?

Needing the whole thing would be very unusual, it’s usually only the confirmation page that is required. Where have you read that you need the whole thing?

Please do fill in your timeline, thx.
