It has my spouse's name and says the embassy has sent us a message but when I log in to CEAC I don't see any message! I looked everywhere I don't understand, is it just a normal confirmation, as it has the interview date and time on it. Interview is in 3 days from today.

Hi there! Any update, please? Also, how long did it take you guys to get sent to the embassy and then to get an appointment? We got approved two weeks ago and are waiting to be sent to NVC. I’m curious how long it will take to get to embassy and secure appointment. Thanks!

It was 12 months ish (https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/799459-2023-us-embassy-ankara-ir1-interview-wait-time/page/4/#comments), not sure if that’s changed recently but it gives you an idea at least. It seems to be a bit quicker for Turkish citizens as they take priority.

You can also search the forum for timelines to see if you can find any more recent cases - please fill in your timeline too to help others, ditto @mico1989Athens, @zerosugar and @anthonyq

Good luck all.

Thank you! I should have specified we are K1 and my fiance is born and raised in Turkey. I’m wondering if K1 processing times for interviews are quicker than CR1. I’ll keep poking around!

Yes k1 is a lot quicker than CR1.

I’m US citizen my spouse is (Arab) non Turkish, and cr1 was approved November 30 2023. The interview date was February 07 2025. It was fine btw spouse came to America Feb 24.
btw We received email of the interview about a month prior.

Ah, ok, yes big difference then. This is why filling in your timeline is so vital! Not only does it help others, it means you get better help too.

Good luck.
