I'm curious to know how many have applied 90 days early vs those were already at or past 5 years when they applied. Seems like people who had already reached the 5 year mark get scheduled for interview a bit faster. Or is that jus me?

I think you're onto something. You might be right. We applied 90 days before our 3 years. We are still waiting for the interview schedule.

Timeline:

Feb 13 – submitted case online,

Feb 13 – received NOA1 with case #,

Feb 13 – received biometric reuse letter.

Application background:
We have been married for 10 years. I am a British citizen. My wife is an American citizen. We decided to live in the UK for 5 yrs. When we moved here, 3 yrs ago I got unconditional 10 yr GC from the get-go. No criminal history, no children, and we both have executive-level jobs.

You cannot get approved for citizenship within 90 days of early filing window.

So USCIS typically would schedule for interview past early filing window.

3 year rule is a more complex process, so may take a little longer too.

Right, but I thought you could still have the interview within the 90 day window, and then wait for oath once the 5 full years had elapsed. Or am I wrong there?
