So exciting to see February applicants start to receive their interview notices already! ^_^

Would be nice when some of us from January also get the interview notices. (I know some already got them, but my wife and I are not one of them).

IR-1 holder. Applied online Feb 24.

Sitting at Step 2 Biometrics right now but unsure if I will need to do them.

6 month ETA listed.

MyProgress estimate can be safely ignored.

Check documents tab to see if biometrics was reused.

Good luck!

Yeah. I know there are people from as far back as August/September 2024 who are still waiting for an interview. It's so frustrating that there's no real rhyme or reason for why some cases move incredibly fast while others take forever.

The processing times would look much worse if cases were processed strictly based on first in first out basis.

Plus some cases are genuinely easier, especially if under general provision, especially if no pending I-751, no criminal history, no divorces or children, and safe country of origin.

Congratulations!

Can you tell us a bit about your case, please?

In my case, my code is FTA0: "database checks received," which apparently means my background check was completed and returned.

Tried this, got the same result.

02/24/25 - filed online, Receipt Notice, Biometrics Reuse

02/28/25 - received hard copy of Receipt Notice

Now we wait.

Yea, it's for my wife...she entered in 2019 on a K1 from UKR. Under the 3 year rule we could have applied for her citizenship back in July 2023, but that's right around when our son was born and in that craziness never had the urgency to file. Recent political environment changes around immigration was the catalyst to go ahead and get this taken care of. Pretty straight forward case I think with everything seemingly adjudicated so much in the past: K1 visa>AOS/Conditional GC>10 year GC.

Hope you get your interview notice soon! Seems to be very dependent on which FO.

Thank you for the information.

May sound weird. What time of the day did you receive that Action on Your Case email, please?
