Thanks for the information Jude61! Really appreciate it.

This is what is says when I tried to track the application:

As of February 1, 2025, we are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number IOE##########. Our records show nothing is outstanding at this time. We will let you know if we need anything from you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

If you check the documents tab on your USCIS page it may have a biometrics reuse document.  That's where mine was.

FEB 2025 Filer for N400 here. Filed for my Mother and Father after their 4 years and 9 month completion. Father's application was on normal basis however mother's application was filed with N-648 disability waiver as she has cognitive disabilities and will not be able to take the US Civics test. Filed from Detroit Michigan. Recieved NOA for my father already and my mother's application is being sent in today by the Attorney. Hopefully this is not a hard process but worried due to the new Trump administration and their scrutiny on Immigration Applications.

My question is there a chance their old biometrics might be used? Is there a rule for it. The Biometrics were taken for the Permanent Residency Card a little more than 5 years ago. Thanks everyone!

I know this tab on the website is known to be unreliable. But, still, it is a happiness tab.

Reaching to interview milestone on the same day of applying is excellent news even if it is fake. lol.

You may be misreading the tab information. When your interview is scheduled, Step #3 will be checked the same way as step #2 and step #1.

I understand that hence why I said reaching the stage. Never said it was scheduled. But I agree with you the wording is confusing.

Just happy and amazed at the fact that it all happened on the same day I submitted my application.

Just to add on to that, that’s what happens for most of the cases.

Thanks for bursting the bubble. I thought these forums were to share the happy news. Like-minded people who are in the same boat enjoy little things. If I am honest, I feel a little different vibe. Anyway. many thanks for the platform.

I'm sorry if my message seemed off. The reason I posted it is because some VJ folks think their interview is scheduled when it isn't, creating high expectation. I only wanted to clarify my understanding of MyProgress. I'm not a native English speaker, and misunderstood the use of word "reaching" in this context.

Thank you for sharing the news, they're good news indeed. And the fact you don't have to do biometrics is a very positive thing. Saves time and hassle. Please keep us updated on progress and don't feel discouraged !
