just  checked online  said  13  months.

Not sure where you’re checking, it’s 16.5 months at the moment - https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

As @OldUser said, if you’re looking at the My Progress tab then ignore it completely, it’s notoriously unreliable.

Hopefully you’ll hear in about a year, then the second stage will very much depend on the consulate you’re applying under.

Good luck.

That’s the ‘My Progess’ on your online account? As said above, that’s horribly inaccurate, best to ignore it completely!

Keep an eye on the USCIS processing times page as that’s much more accurate, currently 16.5 months. So if you filed in Oct 2024 then hopefully spring 2026 you’ll get an approval.

Also, if your wife is applying via Islamabad the keep an eye on the wait times for an interview there (via this forum) as that’s likely to be the part that takes the longest.

Good luck.

yes  you are  right about that time and yes ISL will take longer too and with all  that back log will make it good 36 to 40 months process, but  always gonna be optimistic how things will played out in near future .

thanks for the update
