Does mum need to bring the I-1864 (I am the sponsor for mum and dad) to their visa interview?

They’ll get a full checklist with the interview letter but it’s also on the usual website - steps 10 & 11. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-10-prepare-for-the-interview.html

And make sure they look at the consulate specific instructions on there too. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/LND-London.html#pre_interview_checklist

Good luck.

Hello, my spouse needs to bring  I-864 affidavit of support that I(petitioner) signed and uploaded to NVC.

Is it okay if we just download and print and bring it to interview? I don't have the original form that i filled last year to upload CEAC.

Is there an "original" version of this form or will it be fine if we just bring what we uploaded to NVC?

thanks.

I would check the USCIS website and see if there is a newer version of the form than the one you uploaded to NVC. If there is, then fill it out sign and date it and then you can scan and email the affidavit and all the supporting documentation to your spouse to print and take to the interview. You do not need to mail it. If it's the same version of form as you uploaded, then you can just email the digital copies of everything you uploaded for your spouse to print and take.

hello folks, i just saw your message about this and i had a question, i just didn't see any instruction about checking version and refill it.

but i noticed uscis published a new version.

our form has experiation date in 2026, does that mean we are good? no need to fill it again?

i just don't know if i am overthinking?

now there is a never version that what we submitted last year,

but our form expires in 2026 october, do we really have to download the new version and fill it?

will we have a problem if we bring what we submitted to nvc?

You need to look at the Edition date of the form - This is from the USCIS website:

Starting Feb. 10, 2025, we will accept only the 10/17/24 edition. Until then, you can also use the 12/08/21 E and 12/08/21 editions. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the form and instructions.

I don't know if it's a requirement to print out a new one for the interview or not. It was my recommendation that you do. Consular Officers have a wide latitude of discretion on wether to approve your visa or to refuse it pending receipt of documents that they feel you need to submit. The reason behind my recommendation is this; why would you come all this way in the immigration journey only to possibly delay the approval of your visa over the relatively trivial inconvenience of filling out your I-864 again in the latest edition of the form? What if you get a consular officer at the interview that asks for an updated version of your I-864 and gives you a 221g refusal pending your submission of the form on the current version? I guess it's all about risk tolerance. When it comes to imnmigration matters, I personally take the attitude that I am going to do everything in my power to make sure that I give as little possible excuse to deny for the people who make the decision on the immigration benefit.
