My interview will be in Ankara and we want to add a joint sponsor at the consulate stage in K1 so what kind of documents does the joint sponsor need to provide for this, in addition to my fiancée?

If there is someone who knows the subject and can share all the necessary documents for this, I would be glad

Each of the joint sponsor files independently their own I-134 with the supporting documents, and sends it to the K1 beneficiary before the interview.

Both I-134s can be sent together in one package.

So the K1 beneficiary will take two I-134s to the consulate interview.

Thank you!

What do you suggest we submit as supporting documentation? There seem to be many options

Supporting documents are the supporting evidence of financial support.

I would include as much document/evidence to show that the joint sponsors can financially support beyond the 1.25 times the poverty guideline.

https://aspe.hhs.gov/topics/poverty-economic-mobility/poverty-guidelines

At the minimum, include 3-6 months of payslips along with 3 years of IRS tax return transcripts.

But I would include more than the minimum like a bank reference letter, any assets, properties, investments, etc.
