I have my biometrics on Tuesday and just wondered if my husband had to come with. I was under the impression that he wasnt needed, but some friends of mine who are going through AOS in Tucson also, said that her husband had to be there, but then again she was adjusting from a student visa, could this be the reason?

I wouldnt mind my husband coming with me, but he's working nights and he'll be trying to sleep and since I can drive myself, I dont want to bring him there for no reason.

I-751 - Remove Conditions

July 11, 2009 - Certified Mail to VSC I-751 Package

July 14, 2009 - Check cleared bank

July 20, 2009 - NOA1 & 1 yr extension - Receipt date is July 14. Case# assigned

Sept 1, 2009 - Biometrics completed

Nov 25, 2009 - I-751 is approved. No Interview.

Dec 14, 2009 - 10yr Green Card arrived !

Adjusting from a Student visa doesn't mean you have to bring a spouse along to your biometrics - I adjusted from F-1, nad I went to my bios alone :)

Taking a spouse with you is certainly not required for biometrics. The whole bio thing is pretty uneventful and takes about 10 minutes (plus any waiting time), so it wouldn't make sense for your husband to wake up early in the morning just to go there :)
