Hi there is any one can help me for understanding this i had my k1 interview 27 jan and consular officer took my passport and Said i can get my visa and passport between 1 or 2 week but tracking status on ceac website showing that Application recieved what dose exactly meaning of this

after the visa interview your case goes through more administrative processing

that is most likely what is happening

it will eventually update to "approved" or "issued"

 

it can take days to weeks, depending on the embassy and how simple your case is

 

it's completely normal

actually means immigration/ embassys are slow to update the site

it may say refused soon also as that is what is normally posted after interview while you wait

it does take about a week to print out the visa page to atttach to your passport and then delivery depends on embassy

 

it is important to have a timeline on your portal so please create one 

many queries depend on embassy / country
