The entrance and exit stamps on my passport for my latest trip to China are in Chinese. Do they need to be translated in English by a certified person?

NO  the stamps show entry exit dates.

Again have you checked out CFL? They have an excellent FAQ section covering all details of China immigrations issues.

Thanks. The stamps also show the entry/exit cities in Chinese and even words entry/exit themselves were written in Chinese. :)

I did join CFL. I thought once my finace got closer to the interview we'd visit that site more often.

The dates are in Roman Characters. You have a Visa in English and the stamps are "Chinese". That's the proof you were in China. No translation is needed.

Hi Jim,

It's a good question. And fortunately the answer is "no." No translation will be needed. Submit copies of the identification page of your U.S. passport and page(s) showing the Chinese visa with date stamps. In the letter, notate the admission date stamps: January 17, 2007, February 4, 2007, June 1, 2007 , and June 22, 2007. Whatever the dates, include them out in the cover letter.

Much good luck!

And you might want to have the photocopies enlarged to make it easier for the Adjudicator to see the stamps.

I had mine enlarged and photocopied in color, and i had no issues.

I was referring to your cover letter. I submitted a cover letter with my original petition submittal and with the RFE Reply, per the K-1 guide.
