Hello everyone, we are in the process of applying for the first time for a fiancee visa. My partner and i are a bit confused though on Part 2. It initially requests my (beneficiary) mailing address and then in number 12 is requests an address again if it is different than the one previously stated in number 11, but we had seen a video of someone filling out the form where they put their same address in both areas. Do we leave part 12 blank? Or should we fill it up as well, even though its my same address. We really dont want to make a mistake and want to make sure that we are doing things correctly.

Thanks!

Part 2, Item 11, is the beneficiary’s mailing address.

Part 2, Item 12, is the beneficiary’s physical address history for the last 5 years.

Part 2, Item 13, is the Date From and Date To: PRESENT, of Item 12 physical address.

Part 2, Item 14-15, is the previous physical address history if the beneficiary changed address within the last 5 years, and include the Date From and Date To.

If the beneficiary has had more than 2 physical addresses in the past 5 years, then continue in Part 8, additional information by listing Page Number: 5, Part Number: 2, Item Number: 14-15.

If Item 11 and 12 are the same, then yes type in the address again, and include Item 13 the Date From with the Date To: PRESENT. Some country's locales may have different mailing to physical address because their mailing system may or may not deliver to the physical address, but will deliver to the mailing address.

The K1 visa will be mailed to the Item 11 address, unless the beneficiary reports an address change.

This is no longer true in many cases - When you get to the point where you will be scheduling your interview with the embassy, most embassies will have you register with a website that they use to gather your beneficiary's info, pay the visa fee and schedule the interview. At that time you will also give them the address where you want the passport with the visa in it delivered. For Jaycel's interview in Manila, we actually selected the option to pick up her passport at the courier's office in the Mall of Asia there in Manila.

Thank you for the advise, this was super helpful. I`ll add my same address in number 12 since i am able to receive mail, though it would be great if we are presented the option to pick up our visa as well once we get to that point in the process.

This is from the official website for the US Consulate in Ciudad Juarez

If your visa is approved, we will keep your passport at the Consulate while we prepare your immigration packet and print a visa for your passport. We will return your passport and complete visa packet to you by DHL courier at a later date (see Step 1). If you have to travel within Mexico while your passport is still with us, please make sure you have a valid picture ID other than your passport.

Here is their website regarding visa processing if you want to become an "A" student on the process.... I highly recommend learning as much as possible well beforehand so that you can be fully prepared :)
