Definitely chat logs - my lawyer suggested 2-3 years, translated but not officially - can be someone (not you or a family member) who includes a letter saying they swear they are fluent in both English and Russian. If you don’t have 2-3 years don’t worry, they want to establish that you are consistently in touch. I put my chat logs through a document translator with a free trial at deepl.com and then had the friend who agreed to translate them check the translation. I just did that to make it easier for the translator. As far as I know, only civil/government documents need to be officially translated with a stamp, but it might be worth a consultation with a lawyer about this since a lot is changing with the new administration.
