For Mumbai Interview do you have to wait for appointment letter or do you just schedule the interview? Case shows ready and email was sent for the steps but no letter.

Packet 4 says you need appointment letter to schedule biometrics, but when you schedule the interview and biometrics you only need ds160 confirmation.

 

Also I received  a email that said  to follow steps and schedule medical, biometrics etc. To schedule medical you had to schedule interview date. 

 

I will try the embassy again but first they said do medical first, then do biometrics and we will send the letter. But if you schedule biometrics you also schedule a interview. 

 

So If I schedule the interview without getting the letter is that fine. Or will that be a problem.
