Jaycel's EAD Application was approved 51 days after it was received (which was about 2 weeks after she went to the biometrics appointment) and received the card in the mail 10 days after the approval

Trying!! I'm nervous that something is wrong with my e-notification page, or address, or whatever and I'll miss out on everything.. BUT then they'd have taken the payment, and they haven't, so..

And remember that even if your e-Notify request is perfect, sometimes USCIS still doesn't send the notification. Big thing is to watch for the payment being processed

Hello,

My wife EAD was approved in about 40 days. She received her EAD about 1 week after approval and her SS card (if you had asked for one) 2 days after that.

My RFE for my I-485 says was delivered on march 11 but my case hasn't updated since then. Did anyone have to wait awhile too for any updates?

It will usually take a couple of business days for the status to show they received it

How many weeks/days in advance were you notified about the biometrics appointment? To make sure my spouse has a day off that day, we could plan ahead.

They gave us about 17 days in advance

we got our account access code on 3/3

biometrics was already scheduled for 3/18

 

so about 2 weeks notice

I can confirm on the 2 weeks-ish notice. Ours was just shy of three weeks from the day my husband got his text message with case numbers. Thankfully I had already told my boss that I was going to need to take time off for it whenever USCIS scheduled it for, as it is non-negotiable. You are able to reset if you follow the instructions on the notice but my husband and I did not want to tempt fate.

Found out today that mine was delivered last Thursday (6th March 2025). Hopefully will get a NOA in the next couple of weeks!
