Thank you! Glad it went quickly and wife is happy too. 😊 Now we await the I-485 hopefully doesn’t take too long. 😇

Also anyone who’s done the I-765 how long did it take you from approval to receive your EAD and SS card?

Just today I had received a prompt of CARD PRODUCED and check with EMMA about my tracking code..  biometrics on 6th, approval on 12th...

Your Hawaii center is really fast! Wooo! My friend (Hawaii based too) has her i485 approved this month.. she lodged it last August...

Awesome to hear. 😊 For your friend that must of been around 6 months for her which is not bad. Do you happen to know if she had to do an interview prior to her I-485 approval?

For us the shipping time was just about a week.  However that may be longer or shorter for you out there in Hawaii. Depends on where the card is produced.  Congratulations!

Ours took 1 week to change status from “Approval” to “Card Produced”. The card arrived 3 days after that. It comes Priority Mail so if you have informed delivery with USPS, keep an eye on that once the status changes to produced. They come from Lee’s Summit, MO. To Hawaii? 3-4 days maybe? Let us all know :)

Congratulations to everyone who got their EAD approved already!

Did you all have IOE… cases, or another service center?

I had my biometrics appointment 2/10 and received 5 “we have taken an action on your case” emails from USCIS later that day, both the I-485 and the I-765 had updated to actively processing. But I am starting to worry, seeing that most EADs in the timelines are approved within a few days after biometrics, but I have been waiting for over a week.

Don't sweat it too much... Jaycel had her biometrics on Dec. 26th and the approval didn't come until Jan. 8th. Every adjudicating officer works cases a little differently :)

Been checking my USPS for my EAD card, it was already here in our state, then moved today to another. 😂😂😂 seems like it skipped and just passed by here earlier...Thats so funny..

Our "My Progress" tab changed after the biometrics to show this step completed also. Don't count on that being accurate. You'll only know for sure that the interview was waived if you get an approval decision without having been scheduled for one. Be mentally prepared to have to attend an interview and then if it truly is waived, it will be a nice relief :)

Indeed, can truly be rest assured if we get the residency card or see it as CARD PRODUCED hahaha.

Was wondering too if they are going to give me a new social security card along with my work permit, i ticked YES as its still on my previous name and its under DHS authorization something before with my J1 VISA  and that was 2 decades ago 😂

Oh the things we do for love 😍🤪

they never made it easy for all of us 😅
