I think we actually used a debitcard, since that was also an option. My husband will likely get a call, but we’ll see. We got the funds on there, so it should be all good

Credit or debit, same fraud protection stuff applies blocking transactions. If you receive call / sms to confirm transaction, that's the game over. This means original transaction was declined and charge needs to be placed again. However, USCIS tries only once as per their policy. If unsuccessful, they reject packet and return it.

We used that credit card authorisation form thingy, but all in my husband names. I hope they don't deny us for that, I don't have a creditcard or bank account yet. oop

Should be good unless they have new rules again.

I did the application and notification under my name but the cheques are under my husband's name only since basically I have no access to checking or credit card here yet...

Check if they already charged the card... that might be a good indication that all is good...

This sounds weird. My medical exam results were ready shortly after appointment. Pressure the civil surgeon (if they're real)

This organization is very busy. They have multiple locations.

What are my options if I can't produce the requested evidence before the deadline?

To my knowledge, not many. Your case will be denied. Alternative is getting exam elsewhere who can guarantee quick turnaround and sending it on time.

Cannot even contact the surgeon directly. All calls are automatically redirected to customer service agents.

I would be calling, asking to talk to supervisors every hour, maybe even going to the location and impressing upon them that you have a hard deadline for receipt of the I-693 or your application to USCIS will be denied. I would be the Royal pain in their A** until they gave me what I paid for

I got my Approval Case Decision Rendered with my work authorization, but find no attached document on the app...

im just so ready to apply now 😄

You have to wait for the card anyway.... The approval notice explicitly states that it cannot be used for work authorization. Congrats BTW!! The documents tab often lags behind the change in case status. Give it some time :)
